WAMkey

We treat many teeth that have been crowned and a lot of crowns need to be removed for a number of reasons. Traditionally, crowns are removed by sectioning i.e. cutting the crown. This takes a lot time and efforts. Especially, with new type of material such as zirconia which is very difficult to cut through therefore it takes a lot longer to remove a crown. Instead of cutting a crown through and through from buccal to lingual with traditional sectioning technique what if we can cut a small buccal window and insert WAMkey and rotate. This will easily lift the crown from tooth structure and it would shorten the time a great deal. Below is the clinical use of WAMkey video clip without any editing so the total time for crown removal is exactly 2 minute 40 seconds.
