Chankhrit enjoys reading about the world outside dentistry e.g. behavioural economics, marketing, consumer psychology etc. These (seemingly) dentally unrelated fields, at times, can surprisingly explain what happened in the world of dentistry and health science. He particularly enjoys thinking and talking about contentious issues in Endodontics as they make people think about why we do things the way we do. The latest lecture in this theme was “Unintended consequences of new technology: a case of CBCT”.

He also involves in several hands-on courses in Advanced Contemporary Endodontics, The Use of Microscope in Endodontics and Ergonomics.

Chankhrit is passionate about education. He has conducted several preparation courses for first year postgraduate dental students and endodontic residents. This course “how to learn effectively at postgraduate level” aims to lay solid foundation for new postgraduate students. It consists of four modules i.e. how to read a paper, statistics for mathematically-averse clinicians, how to write a paper and how to present a paper. He finds interactions with students intellectually stimulating and scholarly rewarding.
